First Published in 1857.

We are selling an e-book, in pdf format, of a poem about the Scandinavian river spirit "The Neck" taken from The Fairy Family - A Series of Ballads and Metrical Tales by Archibald Maclaren first published in 1857. There are also a few short notes about The Neck by Maclaren. The book contains the first book illustrations by Edward Burne-Jones. There are 11 pages including the origianl title page and two illustrations by Burne-Jones, including that of The Neck playing a harp. We are offering the material in e-book format because of the scarcity of the original publication. [ ]

The original material is no longer within copyright but our version is copyrighted and re-selling rights are not offered.

Once payment has been made we will email a pdf file of the e-book to you. Please advise us of the preferred email address for delivery at the time of payment. Please allow a short period of time for processing during our working hours. [We are also able to mail a CD holding the pdf file if required - there will be a small additional charge for postage and duplication.]
