CATALOGUE OF STAMPS OF THE UZBEKISTAN 2003-2006

"O´zbekiston markasi" the branch of "O´zbekiston pochtasi" JSC is the only specialized enterprise, producing and distributing state emblems of postage payment. History of enterprise goes down to 1992 - the year when the first Uzbek postage stamp dedicated to 200 years birthday of well known poetess of Uzbekistan Nodirabegim. For 14 years activity our enterprise issued 613 postage stamps different by themes.

Today "O´zbekiston markasi" satisfies not only the order of postal service, but produces goods which is a visiting card of Uzbekistan, winning recognition of world philatelists and enters the world market.

We are in correspondence with different foreign countries and conclude contracts with them. For past period Uzbekistan postage stamps took worthy place in world known catalogues such as "MICHEL" (Germany), "YVERT & TELLIER" (France), "SCOTT" (USA), "DOMFILL" (Spain), "AMIR MAGGI" (Brasil) magazines and newspapers of Russia, Spain, Austria, Brazil, Japan, China, Macedony, etc.

The first postage stamps of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in world philatelistic exhibitions in Germany, Israel, Austria, Hong Kong, Singapore, Russia and Romania as a symbol of independent Republic.

"O´zbekiston markasi" the branch of "O´zbekiston pochtasi" JSC keeps close contacts with foreign colleagues, dealing with postage stamp issue, export of philatelistic production through their partners abroad.

"O´zbekiston markasi" the branch of "O´zbekiston pochtasi" JSC takes an active part in joint projects on issue the postage stamp with various countries. We succeeded in such projects with Kirghizistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan - postage block "Save the Aral Sea", 1996. In 2003 was issued postage stamps on themes "Art" with Republic of Kazakhstan .

At the same time we work on effective visual protection of postage stamp, as there are noticed several attempts of using the pulse postage stamp abroad the country.

Gained creative potential, flexible production policy based on marketing research let the enterprise to win its position and solve the tasks in reformation period in economy of Uzbekistan.
